MEDICAL & COSMETIC CARE FOR THE FAMILY
COVID-19 Spicewood Dermatology Update
Dear Spicewood Dermatology Patient,
Protecting the health and safety of our patients, staff, and community is our top priority particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Keeping Our Patients Healthy:
We are asking patients key screening questions while confirming appointments to ensure safety. It is required to have a face mask/covering on to enter the clinic, and this should be worn until exiting the clinic. Please choose a face mask that does not have a valve as per CDC recommendations. We will check temperatures of all individuals at check-in; any patient that has a temperature over 99.5 degrees F must reschedule their appointment. Hand Hygiene supplies will be available and their use is encouraged during office visits.
We ask that our scheduled patient come alone, or if under 18 with only one parent to reduce exposure risk. We ask that all patients who may be at a higher risk for more severe infection with COVID-19 weigh the risk/benefit of coming to clinic.
Sanitation and Staff Precautions:
We have reduced the number of appointments we offer so that we can thoroughly sanitize exam rooms and common areas between patients. We are also taking daily temperature and health screenings of all staff members. All staff will be wearing masks and taking extra sanitation precautions.
Staying Home When Sick:
We respectfully ask that if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell), or if any immediate family/contacts have had symptoms within the past 14 days please reschedule your appointment.
Spicewood Dermatology has been proud to offer medical and cosmetic skin care to our community.
Our experienced providers are committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to each and every patient, and we look forward to the opportunity to care for you and your family.
